Information about temporary public service positions available in the department's central and district offices can be accessed through the above link. These positions are only available to staff employed by the Department of Education and Training, the Curriculum Council, the Country High Schools Hostels Authority and the Department of Education Services unless otherwise specified.

Teacher, School Psychologist and School Administrator Positions

From 20 July 2009 all head of department, head of learning area, deputy principal and school psychologist vacancies, along with teaching positions in local selection schools will be advertised on the State Government Job Board. A special page has been created for these positions so if you are familiar with how to use this site simply visit jobs.det.wa.edu.au to view advertised positions and set up a job alert.

Principal Positions

Please note that all Principal positions are advertised on-line at jobs.wa.gov.au and applicants are asked to register and apply on-line. When searching this website for a Principal vacancy, select Principal Level 3, Principal Level 4, Principal Level 5 and/or Principal Level 6 from the "Level" drop-down menu.

Mobility Transfer Matching Facility

The Mobility Transfer Matching Facility provides permanent teachers, school administrators and specialist staff with the opportunity to register their interest in a mobility transfer and to search for others with whom they maybe able to negotiate a mobility transfer.
